<div>The Redondo Beach Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is looking for a Barista/Bartender to join the team! The Barista is responsible for courteously and efficiently serving guests while preparing coffee, tea and other non-alcoholic/alcoholic beverages along with a variety of food items.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.</li><li>Contributes to a positive team environment.</li><li>Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission.</li><li>Communicates effectively and engages with guests and fellow team members.</li><li>Accurately and courteously take guest orders, make recommendations, suggestions and leverage selling skills.</li><li>Serves as coffee expert, providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods (roasting process, flavor, etc.)</li><li>Responsibly serves alcoholic beverages by properly verifying identification and age requirements of all customers ordering and consuming alcoholic beverages.</li><li>Completes and maintains any required training by law, such as Responsible Beverage Service Training (RBS Training) and Food Handler Cards.</li><li>Prepare, stock, and serve food items. Follow all safety procedures when using the TurboChef oven and any other kitchen equipment.</li><li>Maintain clean &amp; sanitized bar tables, chairs, stools, and counter surface at all times.</li><li>Routinely clean and upkeep espresso machines and brewing equipment.</li><li>Adhere to food safety requirements and health department guidelines.</li><li>Process all cash and charge transactions according to house procedures.</li><li>Close checks and run reports at the end of shift.</li><li>Stock side station with necessary coffee, tea, and beverage items.</li><li>Assist Food and Beverage Manager with stocking beverages, mixes and food items.</li><li>Stock beverages, mixes, and food items for the next shift.</li><li>Attend all required brand training, coffee promotion, and implementation training.</li><li>Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security.</li><li>Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.</li><li>Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel.</li><li>Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.</li></ul>

Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
