<div>Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. 
This role will have an emphasis on Accounts Payable related functions with opportunities to gain exposure to core accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting. 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records. Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed</li>
<li>Prepare payment batches for approval and execution</li>
<li>Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 forms, remittance addresses, and contact information</li>
<li>Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries</li>
<li>Support month-end and year-end closing activities</li>
<li>Assist with financial reporting, documentation, and audit support as requested</li>
<li>Coordinates with the Billing team on patient refunds, and facilitates related refund payments as needed</li>
<li>Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices</li>
<li>Assist other finance or administrative tasks as needed</li></ul> 


Education and Experience:

<div><ul><li>Accounting or Finance degree required.</li>
<li>Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.</li></ul></div></div> 
 
Skills and Abilities:
<div>
<div><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.</li>
<li>Ability to learn accounting software systems.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li></ul></div></div>
