Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a QMAP / Med Tech:</b></p><ul><li>
Observe and verify that medication is ingested or applied as directed. Document any instance where prescribed medication is not administered, including reason(s) for refusal and notify supervisor and/or Executive Director.</li><li>
Maintain accurate, complete and confidential resident medication and care records according to established procedure and state law.</li><li>
Keep medicine carts and areas orderly, clean and appropriately stocked and locked. Maintain upkeep and cleanliness of medicine carts and medication rooms.</li><li>
Assist care partners in the performance of their job and assume care partner activities when needed or requested.</li></ul><div></div><p><b><br>
Qualifications of a QMAP / Med Tech:</b></p><ul><li>
Prefer experience in a QMAP/Med Tech role.</li><li>
Must possess a current Colorado QMAP Certificate</li><li>
Prefer one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience.</li><li>
Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations.</li><li>
High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details.</li><li>
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner.</li>
Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.<br>
