The Rosenfeld Law Firm is looking for a hands-on senior-level Legal Receptionist/Secretary to provide support in the Sacramento office. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of how to institute efficient work flows and have experience in handling and managing legal documents. The primary responsibilities include managing Mr. Rosenfeld&rsquo;s daily schedule and activities, legal research, and client interfacing via phone, voicemail, e-mail, and in-person communication. Additional responsibilities include Courts, office and records filing/management.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and coordinate schedule(s) for executive management</li><li>Greet clients and visitors and answering visitor inquiries</li><li>Schedule and routing clients</li><li>Maintain and scheduling conference room</li><li>Maintain the waiting area, lobby or other public areas</li><li>Perform administrative responsibilities including managing files, preparing correspondence, filing motions and ordering supplies</li><li>Establish new case files</li><li>Assist with monthly billing and data entry</li><li>Collecting and routing mail and hand-delivered packages</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years&rsquo; legal receptionist/secretary work experience</li><li>Ability to appropriately handle highly confidential information</li><li>Experience managing legal documents, preparing files, and making trial notebooks</li><li>Light legal research skills</li><li>Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as scheduling and billing software programs</li><li>Proven ability to establish pleasant professional working relationships with colleagues, clients, external attorneys and their staff, and court personnel</li><li>High degree of professionalism and good judgement</li><li>Proficient with scheduling meetings and managing calendars</li><li>Detail oriented and self-motivated</li><li>Thrive under pressure in a demanding environment</li><li>Ability to manage multiple demands</li><li>Strong work ethic and ability to work independently</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Experienced and comfortable with technology</li><li>Ability to learn quickly</li></ul>Salary is commensurate with skills and experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Aside from English, are you fluent in another language?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Legal administrative: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Sacramento, CA 95814 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Sacramento, CA 95814 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
