Progress Container, a TRG company and affiliate of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Structural Designer to support our Winder, GA facility! The Structural Designer will develop conceptual and structural solutions for customer – specific to P.O.P Display & retail markets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION: 
<ul>
<li>Use knowledge & expertise to work directly with customer and/or sales at conceptual phase.</li>
<li>Develop concepts and ultimately fully finished CADs for full scope of display delivery to customer.</li>
<li>Work closely with production & Fulfillment to revise projects for maximum efficiency.</li>
<li>Make recommendations to maximize sales, product quality, and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Provide support to rest of team members where needed – mockups, sample cutting, general lab duties.</li>
<li>Accompany Sales Reps on occasion for present new products or designs to customers or prospects.</li>
<li>Provide support with production art when needed</li>
<li>Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.</li>
</ul>
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 
<ul>
<li>Highschool Diploma / Five years’ experience in drafting or related field.</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 
<ul>
<li>Associates or Bachelor’s degree / Five years’ experience in corrugated design.</li>
</ul>
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Artios CAD / CAPE.</li>
<li>Decent typing & strong communication skills. Clear writing & good grammar.</li>
<li>Ability to connect 2D & 3D.</li>
<li>Proficiency with most standard industry software programs: Artios / Adobe / Microsoft office; preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills & crisis management; preferred.</li>
