Currently enrolled in a high school.</li><li>

Knowledge of emergency protocols, first aid, and general safety guidelines relevant to children.</li><li>

Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous tasks.</li><li>
Ability to work well with young children grades Pre-K through 5th.</li><li>
Ability to think critically and make clear, well-reasoned and timely decisions.</li><li>
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and environments.</li><li>
Ability to remain patient and understanding when working with children of different ages and backgrounds.</li><li>
Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate and engage in program activities.</li></ul><p>

Responsibilities</b></h2><p><b>
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</b></p><ul><li>
Typical duties include but are not limited to:</li><li>
Ensure the safety and well-being of children during the after-school program.</li><li>
Monitor children's activities to maintain a safe and positive environment.</li><li>
Assist in managing student behavior in accordance with program guidelines.</li><li>
Help facilitate games, arts and crafts, and enrichment activities under staff guidance.</li><li>
Encourage student participation and engagement in all activities.</li><li>
Assist with supervising children during program hours, including arrival, snack time, activities, and dismissal.</li><li>
Provide support in preparing materials, setting up for activities, and handling post-activity cleanup.</li><li>
Provide homework help and academic support to students as needed.</li><li>
Encourage good study habits and a positive attitude toward learning.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with program staff, students, and parents.</li><li>
Report any issues or concerns to the After School Program Director promptly.</li><li>
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>

Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills.</li><li>

Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment, materials, practices, computers, and applications.</li><li>
