Location: Mumbai (Hybrid &ndash; Remote-friendly with occasional office visits) Type: Full-Time Working Hours: ~25 hours/week (flexible, deadline-driven) Compensation: ₹20,000/month Primary Tools: Canva + Photo Editing Software + Motion Graphics ToolsAbout Nimaya FoundationNimaya Foundation, co-founded by Navya Naveli Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, is a not-for-profit career accelerator preparing young women from underserved communities for the AI-powered digital economy.We have empowered 3,900+ Nimaya Naaris across Maharashtra, Gujarat &amp; Haryana through partnerships with UN Women, FICCI-FLO, SEWA, Mumbai Police, and more.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly creative, detail-obsessed Graphic Designer who can create visually strong training decks, posters, motion graphics, and communication materials that form the core of our training programs.This is NOT a &ldquo;basic Canva role.&rdquo; Each slide requires strong design judgment, custom graphic creation, visual storytelling, and fast iteration based on feedback.You will work closely with our Design Consultant, who will provide visual briefs, guide direction, review drafts, and collaborate with you throughout the design process.This is ideal for someone who wants real-world design ownership, fast growth, and impactful portfolio work.Key Responsibilities Design Execution<ul><li>Create training decks (70-80 slides each) using Canva while maintaining a fixed brand theme.</li><li>Design custom graphics for each slide (not template-only work).</li><li>Apply photo editing, visual composition, and motion/animation where needed.</li><li>Build posters, communication creatives, and social graphics aligned with brand identity.</li><li>Motion Graphics &amp; Animation</li><li>Use motion tools such as After Effects, Lottie Lab, or similar to create small animations or micro-interactions within decks.</li><li>Export graphic elements and animated assets as required.</li><li>Workflow &amp; Collaboration</li><li>Turn content inputs into clean, polished visual designs.</li><li>Iterate quickly based on feedback from the design team &amp; co-founders.</li><li>Follow deadlines strictly while maintaining high-quality output.</li><li>Maintain consistency in typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy.</li><li>Collaborate closely with our Design Consultant to refine visual direction.</li></ul>This role requires strong speed, clarity of design thought, and ability to turn briefs into visuals efficiently.What We&rsquo;re Looking ForMindset<ul><li>Proactive, takes ownership, and solves problems independently</li><li>Passionate about women empowerment and social impact</li><li>Fast learner with a feedback-friendly, iterative attitude</li><li>Extremely detail-oriented with strong visual judgment</li><li>Able to balance speed with quality</li><li>Clear communicator and reliable collaborator</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong Canva skills (template editing + custom composition)</li><li>Photo editing skills (any editing software)</li><li>Motion/Animation skills using:</li><li>After Effects</li><li>Lottie Lab</li><li>OR equivalent tools</li><li>Strong understanding of:</li></ul>TypographyLayout &amp; spacingColour theoryVisual hierarchy<ul><li>Ability to take visual briefs and transform them into final design assets</li><li>Comfortable working under tight deadlines</li></ul>Eligibility<ul><li>Degree/diploma in Design / Visual Communication (preferred)</li><li>OR strong portfolio of design projects (required)</li><li>Availability for ~25 hours/week</li><li>Open to freshers, students, early-career designers, and freelancers who can commit to deadlines</li></ul>Contract Details<ul><li>Duration: 2 months (extendable by 1 month if required)</li><li>Working Hours: Flexible but delivery-driven</li><li>Location: Mumbai (hybrid, remote-friendly for most work)</li></ul>How to ApplySend your CV + Design Portfolio to: contact@nimaya.inSubject: Application &ndash; Graphic Designer (Full-Time)Join us and design with purpose &mdash; creating meaningful visuals that empower young women to build bold, ambitious futures.Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 2 monthsPay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 20 &ndash; 25 per weekWork Location: In person
