</b></div><div>The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) performs and assists with all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. He/She may also conduct physical exams, order tests and serve as a patient&rsquo;s primary healthcare provider. The APP functions under the direction of the Medical Director and/or his/her supervising physician as well as the clinic manager for non-clinical functions regarding the daily flow and management of the clinic. The APP is responsible for maintaining the health records of patients.<br>
</div><div></div><div><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:
</b></div><div>* Performs complete medical history and physical exams on patients establishing differential diagnosis.
<br>
<ul><li>Orders appropriate lab and diagnostic testing/procedures.
</li><li>Synthesizes date to determine primary diagnosis and therapeutic plans utilizing established medical principals.
</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to recognize and critically assess any changes in patient&rsquo;s condition and reports such to the physician as needed.
</li><li>Acts as a liaison and facilitator between physician, staff members, case manager and attending physician regarding patient.
</li><li>Reviews results to verify all lab work, diagnostic results and other test results are available and notifies physician as appropriate.
</li><li>Facilitates coordination and development of a comprehensive and individual plan of care in collaboration with patient.
</li><li>Acts as a liaison with patient care staff.
</li><li>Dictates/documents patient information in appropriate format and following established guidelines.
</li><li>Maintains daily progress notes using established guidelines.
</li><li>Follows all established HIMS policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.
</li><li>Makes recommendations regarding clinic overflows and documentation requirements.
</li><li>Acts as lead for development of new workflows or implementation of new systems.
</li><li>Manages resources effectively.
</li><li>Ensures that patients are treated with respect and dignity and are processed through the clinic as quickly as possible while maintaining quality of medical care.
</li><li>Demonstrates dependability, accountability, and flexibility in all tasks.
</li><li>Works with clinic manager on regular ongoing basis to determine priorities for increasing patient satisfaction scores.
</li><li>Participates in Professional Development activities in addition to required CEUs.
</li><li>Participates with clinic manager in Practice Business Plan and bi-annual program evaluation.
</li><li>Consistently documents patient charts so charges can be rendered for services provided to patient. Charting completed according to medical staff guidelines.
</li><li>Keeps abreast of pertinent federal, and state regulations and laws and Tift Regional Health System, Inc. (&ldquo;TRHS&rdquo;) policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
</li><li>Understands and adheres to: TRHS&rsquo; compliance standards as they appear in TRHS&rsquo;s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy; and HIPAA and TRHS policies regarding privacy and security of protected health information.
</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to perform tasks that meet the age-specific requirements of the persons, patients, vendors, and staff that the employee is charged to interact with as required by the position.
</li><li>Offers suggestions on ways to improve operations of department and reduce costs.
</li><li>Attends all mandatory education programs.
</li><li>Improves self-knowledge through voluntarily attending continuing education/certification classes.
</li><li>Maintains required competency levels as identified in written exams, skills checklists, skills labs, annual safety and health requirements as well as service excellence education hours requirements.
</li><li>Cross-trains in order to better assist co-workers and to provide maximum efficiency in the department.
</li><li>Volunteers/participates on hospital committees, functions, and department projects.
</li><li>Manages resources effectively.
</li><li>Reports equipment in need of repair in order to extend life of equipment and removes malfunctioning equipment out of service with timely reporting to the appropriate personnel.

</b></div><div>Physician Assistant: Must be a graduate of a PA program. Must have current PA&rsquo;s License. Two years of full-time clinical experience preferred. Active membership in American Association of Physician Assistants and Georgia Association of Physician Assistants preferred.

Nurse Practitioner: Master's of Science in Nursing required. Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required. Three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred. Must maintain current Georgia RN license. Nurse Practitioner certification is required.</div><br>

</b></div><div>The Office Specialist/Patient Financial Consultant is responsible for coordinating all communications within the clinic and handling administrative and financial processes to support daily operations. This includes transcribing physician orders, registering patients, staying up to date on insurance requirements, and collecting payments for surgeries and procedures. The Office Specialist/Patient Financial Consultant works closely with Patient Access at the hospital to ensure compliance with current registration guidelines and provides excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical and non-medical personnel. This position reports directly to the Practice Manager.<br>
</div><div></div><div><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:
</b></div><div>* Correctly Transcribes physician&rsquo;s orders into mainframe using appropriate forms.

<ul><li>Coordinates scheduling, needed follow-ups, and referrals for patients.
</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to handle confidential information with discretion for the patient, family, and/or co-worker.
</li><li>Assist in answering incoming phone calls by providing information or assistance to patients, referring physician offices, and other callers; transfers calls to the appropriate personnel or takes accurate messages as needed.
</li><li>Performs general clerical duties such as filing, mailing, faxing and copying.
</li><li>Assist in ordering office and medical supplies as requested.
</li><li>Maintains current knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures.
</li><li>Receives payments from patients and issues receipts accurately.

</li><li>Coordinates with Patient Access and Revenue Cycle teams to address registration or billing discrepancies.
</li><li>Supports front office workflow efficiency by identifying process improvements or gaps in communication.
</li><li>Participates in departmental meetings and contribute to efforts to improve patient satisfaction.<br>
