Bouncer / Security Team MemberThe Stand Up Comedy Club is seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Security Team Member to help provide a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, staff, and performers.Bouncer at a comedy club highly encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Check IDs and ensure all guests meet age requirements.</li><li>Monitor guest behavior and maintain a safe, respectful atmosphere.</li><li>Assist with crowd control during entry, seating, and exit.</li><li>Handle disturbances professionally and de-escalate conflicts when necessary.</li><li>Enforce venue policies and procedures.</li><li>Work closely with management, servers, bartenders, and box office staff.</li><li>Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.</li><li>Assist with emergency situations and incident reporting.</li><li>Help protect company property and equipment.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous security, bouncer, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.</li><li>Ability to remain calm under pressure.</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor.</li><li>Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Ability to stand and walk for the time we have shows</li><li>Must be at least 21 years old.</li><li>Valid Guard Card preferred but not required.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For: We want team members who understand that security is about more than removing disruptive guests. The ideal candidate is observant, respectful, approachable, and committed to creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.Schedule: Primarily Friday and Saturday and some Thursdays and Sunday evenings, with additional shifts available for private events and special shows.Pay: Based on experience.Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Can you stand for 3 hours straight?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bouncer/Security: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Guard Card (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
