Administrative Support Staff 
Position Overview 
The State&rsquo;s Attorney&rsquo;s Office for Charles County is seeking detail-oriented, organized, and professional candidates to provide critical administrative support to prosecutors. This position plays a key role in case preparation, data management, and public service in a fast-paced legal environment. 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist prosecutors with case preparation and scheduling.</li>
<li>Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical.</li>
<li>Enter and update information accurately in electronic case management systems.</li>
<li>Answer and route phone calls professionally.</li>
<li>Interact with victims, witnesses, law enforcement, and the public.</li></ul> 


Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe.</li>
<li>Ability to quickly learn specialized software.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.</li>
<li>Accuracy and attention to detail in handling sensitive information.</li>
<li>Ability to view objectionable or graphic material related to criminal cases.</li>
<li>Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.</li></ul> 


Salary

<li>Starting at: $50,000</li></ul>
