We are seeking an <b>LVN</b> to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As an <b>LVN</b>, you will play an important role in all phases of nursing care that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. <p><b>
What you'll do:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure that the individual service plan in followed; administers or supervises treatments prescribed by physician.</li>
<li>Make meaningful rounds of all residents, utilizing service plans; make rounds with physicians and records visits on charts.</li>
<li>Administer all intramuscular, sub-cutaneous injections; perform all in-house testing procedures; take and record vital signs.</li>
<li>Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status.</li>
<li>Supervise aides in the performance of their duties by monitoring their work; assign aides to residents &ndash; specifying break times and special duties to be completed, including activities.</li>
<li>Work with Activity Director, DON, and Nurse Aides in carrying out the activities program.</li>
<li>Meet with DON as needed and participate in staff meetings to keep staff performing at optimum level.</li>
<li>Receive or place calls to physicians and follow through with physician's orders.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>What </b><b>you</b><b>'ll</b><b> bring</b><b>:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED plus one to two years of college or vocational school</li>
<li>Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Must hold current Texas licensure as licensed vocational nurse</li>
<li>Requires ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously to move objects and/or people.</li>
<li>Requires bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing over 75% of shift.</li></ul><br>

</div><div><p>We are seeking a <b>Certified Nurse Aide</b> to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a <b>Certified Nurse Aide</b>, you will play an important role in all phases of physical and emotional support that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. <p><b>
What you'll do:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Make frequent resident rounds on a regular basis to check the physical comfort, safety, and cleanliness of residents.</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.</li>
<li>Assist with the appropriate implementation of the prescribed health care plan.</li>
<li>Provide excellent, safe services in care and treatment including: bathing; feeding; oral care; intake of food; dressing; care of hair, nails; moving residents from area to area; responding to calls, etc.</li>
<li>Provide broad range of cleaning/sanitary services, including: emptying and/or cleaning of urinals, commodes, bedpans; showers, wheelchairs and other equipment, timely and proficiently.</li>
<li>Accurately and timely document Activities for Daily Living (ADL's), intakes and outputs and other appropriate information on charts.</li>
<li>Wake up residents, assist with morning grooming and move resident to dining room as needed.</li>
<li>Change soiled and unsoiled linen; distribute clean towels frequently throughout shift.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED</li>
<li>Completes and meets required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities; e.g. nursing aid certificate, CPR.</li>
<li>Requires ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.</li>
<li>Requires bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing over 75% of shift.</li>
