The Industrial Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, minor and major repair of both production and process equipment.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Provide preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment, systems, and building in a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).</li>
<li>Fixes machine breakdowns in a prompt skillful manner, minimizing equipment downtime.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and repairing electrical (motors, solenoids, etc.).</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic (air cylinders, electro-pneumatic solenoids, etc.).</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics (cylinders, motors, solenoids, etc.).</li>
<li>Assists in installing, inspecting new equipment, and servicing installations.</li>
<li>Provides support to co-workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, building managers, and engineers as necessary to support project and renovation work.</li>
<li>Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments.</li>
<li>Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout procedures, and wearing PPE as required.</li>
<li>Light construction consisting of framing, painting, plumbing, and miscellaneous repair duties.</li>
</ul>

<li>Previous experience in an industrial environment or other related fields.</li>
<li>Comfortable with manufacturing processes.</li>
<li>Proven resource and problem solver.</li>
<li>Must be hands-on, detail oriented.</li>
<li>Ability to handle physical workload.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable of diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.</li>
<li>Experience using a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers, and diagnostic hardware to perform work.</li>
<li>Must be able to multi-task, work independently, and within a team structure.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Interpersonal skills.</li>
</ul>
Education and/or Experience: 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma, or GED is required.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years' experience in Maintenance and Troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Intermediate electric maintenance knowledge.</li>
</ul>
