Job Title: Staff Accountant/Accounts Payable ClerkJob Location: Fredericksburg, VASummary:The Stover Jarrell Agency, LLC is seeking a part-time Staff Accountant/Accounts Payable Clerk to manage the accounts payable processes for a diverse portfolio of 400 commercial and residential rental units. The main functions of this position are to process payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This position will report to the President. Our company utilizes the program, Rent Manager (RM), for payment processing and tenant tracking.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accurately review, input, code, and process vendor invoices online or by check to include, but not limited to:</li></ul>1. Recurring monthly bank loan payments2. Routine utility bills3. Various repair and maintenance bills, check requests, and expense reports4. Annual insurance and bi-annual real estate taxes<ul><li>Monthly audit of and processing of credit card bills and maintain credit card register and all receipts</li><li>Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies</li><li>Address and respond to vendor inquiries</li><li>Process monthly management fees payments and deposits</li><li>Monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations</li><li>Annual 1099s for taxes</li></ul>Job Details:<ul><li>$25 per hour</li><li>10 &ndash; 20 hours per week</li><li>On site at The Stover Jarrell Agency office</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Two plus years of successful experience with accounts payable (Required)</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or related field (Preferred)</li><li>Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to research and resolve issues with accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications, such as Excel and Word</li><li>Experience in automated accounting software, with experience in Yardi or Rent Manager a plus</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
