Now Hiring: Sales &amp; Design | Part-TimeFor 23 years, The T-Shirt Deli has been doing things our way &mdash; a women- and LGBTQ-owned custom apparel boutique in the heart of Bucktown, built on the concept of a classic New York deli. Customers walk up to the counter, tell us what they need, and we craft it fresh from start to finish. Every order goes out wrapped in butcher paper with a bag of chips &mdash; and every customer leaves smiling. It's a genuinely fun place to work, because making people happy never gets old. We work hard (and sometimes laugh hard) and genuinely care about every single order that comes across our counter.You must have:<ul><li>3+ years retail experience</li><li>Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator &mdash; we will ask you to demonstrate this in person</li><li>The ability to multitask without losing your cool &mdash; seriously, this is the job</li><li>A genuine love of talking to people and making their experience great</li><li>Mac proficiency and excellent spelling</li></ul>What you'll actually be doing:This isn't a desk job &mdash; it's fast, hands-on, and a lot is expected of you. You'll be prepping artwork, running vinyl cutters, operating industrial heat presses, and making sure every order comes out exactly right. You'll also be on the floor helping customers, which means designing, selling, and problem-solving often all at once. Our team works hard, has a lot of fun, and puts the customer first, every time.This job demands your full attention, all the time. If you struggle to stay focused in a loud, fast, constantly-interrupted environment &mdash; this probably isn't the right fit. We're not for everyone, and that's okay.Weekends and holidays required.
