Job Description:
Role Overview
As the IT Engineering Manager for Retail Distribution, you will lead engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions that support distribution center modernization and business operations.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Hire, develop, and coach a high-performing, multi-skilled team of 8&ndash;15 associates.</li><li>
Bring strong leadership skills to motivate, inspire, and build high-performing talent.</li><li>
Drive performance management, including coaching, goal setting, and holding team members accountable for commitments.</li><li>
Manage a global function in a complex, multi-national corporate setting with geographically dispersed teams.</li><li>
Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Apply a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.</li><li>
Champion agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.</li><li>
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise retail distribution solutions, including warehouse management systems, microservices, QA automation, DevSecOps, and technology lifecycle management.</li><li>
Act as an escalation point for service disruptions, ensuring timely incident resolution and stakeholder communication.</li><li>
Foster collaboration across global teams and promote a positive, inclusive culture.</li><li>
Mentor and develop team members in alignment with TJX values.</li></ul> 
What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
12+ years in engineering roles, with 3+ years in people leadership positions.</li><li>
Expertise in Java-based microservices, event-driven architecture, API development, and cloud-native applications (Azure).</li><li>
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul> 
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Experience in supply chain or warehousing.</li><li>
Familiarity with Manhattan WMS.</li><li>
SAFe Agile certification.</li></ul>
