What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>
Promotes safe work practices and safety-first environment for all duties performed and trains in safe work practices</li><li>
Provides an introduction to our manufacturing environment to new employees</li><li>
Trains production workers by utilizing hands on training methods in the classroom according to safety standards, product conformance and specifications</li><li>
Evaluates trainee progress and maintains record of trainee&rsquo;s progress and achievements</li><li>
Provides complete and up-to-date information on the competence level of employees to production supervisors</li><li>
Follows up with and reinforces information and training provided to new employees</li><li>
Prepare training aids, materials, and tests to check the knowledge/training level of employees</li><li>
Assists in developing new training or methods of training</li><li>
Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are continuously improved</li><li>
Interacts directly with Manufacturing Engineering, Supervisors and Team Leads</li><li>
Interacts indirectly with other departments that impact the production process in order to help identify and solve problems</li><li>
Schedule training time with employees needing additional training and document</li><li>
Keep all necessary training records</li><li>
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner</li><li>
Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisor such as safety and lean related projects. Also directly support assembly operations during times of reduced hiring.</li></ul> 
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:<ul><li>
Possess ability to train and coach others</li><li>
Requires strong communication, interpersonal, technical, and planning skills</li><li>
Demonstrates problem solving skills, is able to recognize and appropriately escalate issues when situations arise</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while additional ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner</li><li>
High attention to organization and detail</li><li>
Working knowledge of all MS Office applications preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>
Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required</li><li>
Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally</li><li>
Demonstrates team spirit, shows flexibility and positive attitude as an active team contributor</li><li>
Ability to successfully complete pre-hire basic skills test and assessments</li></ul>
