The Total Office

The role is responsible for managing the day to day running of the Furniture joinery as well as oversee the installation at the Client/ end user. The Manager will also provide leadership and management to the team.Key Accountabilities:<ul><li>Preparation of product measurements / templates / details .</li><li>Reviewing &amp; updating BoM (Bill of Materials prepared by QS) and issuing to responsible team for materials procurement.</li><li>Ensuring that Health &amp; Safety is of paramount importance in the department, regulations are met and that the workplace is kept clean and tidy.</li><li>Establishing and maintaining designated work spaces, storage areas and gangways.</li><li>Planning and organizing production schedules, Supervising the production processes and accountable for the Quality Control of all in-house production.</li><li>Assessing project and resource requirements and deciding what resources are required.</li><li>Ensuring that the production is cost effective and managing the reduction of process waste.</li><li>Liaising with the Estimation and Projects departments regarding finalization of the production and /or project budgets and timescales.</li><li>Ensuring that production processes are compliant with company standards and reviewing progress constantly.</li><li>Ensure that all production data is processed in both a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Ensure that materials are managed accordingly ensuring safe storage, and procedural inventory control.</li><li>Ensuring that all machinery, equipment, hand tools etc are maintained in a good state of repair including organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.</li><li>Building strong working relationships with other departments and team members to facilitate fruitful collaborations.</li><li>Training, mentoring and motivating the workforce, ensuring that individual development is recorded on the Skills Matrix and in the employees personnel file.</li><li>Engaging with employees and positively encouraging their input to continuously improve both efficiency and an engaging work environment.</li></ul>Technical Knowledge and Skills Required -<ul><li>Previous experience of working in a joinery/production environment or similar</li><li>Should be able read production drawings</li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills</li><li>Motivational and influencing skills</li><li>Organized, able to prioritize</li><li>Approachable and a good listener</li><li>Experience in conflict management and resolution</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentLanguage:<ul><li>English fluently (Required)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What is your Notice Period?</li><li>What is your Salary Expectation?</li></ul>
