We have a vacancy in our SEN department to co-ordinate and deliver interventions to support pupils who have English as an additional language. We have a small group of delightful EAL pupils that attend our school and this represents a fantastic opportunity to build on the outstanding work of the outgoing postholder.The ideal candidate should demonstrate resilience, initiative, patience and a passion for working with and assisting young people to learn. There are excellent opportunities for career progression and a full induction will be provided. Candidates must have proven literacy and numeracy skills, equivalent to GCSE grade C and above.Successful candidates will be required to deliver interventions to individual pupils or small groups from Year 7 to Year 11. They will work closely with the SENCO and subject teachers to ensure pupils receive the best support possible.
