Join Our Team!</h5>
We have an immediate need for a full &ndash; time Graphic and Web Designer to join our team at our Corporate office in Troy, NY. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Director of Marketing Services, and responsible for the following:<ul><li>
Producing high-quality collateral and marketing materials</li><li>
Design of various materials for use in print and digital application</li><li>
Conceptualizing and designing websites &amp; landing pages: create visually appealing, user-friendly, and effective website layouts and visual elements (like icons and banners) that align with client or company branding.</li><li>
Ensuring visual consistency: establish and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and standards (including color theory, typography, and imagery) across all web pages and digital assets.</li><li>
Front-end implementation (Basic): utilize front-end development skills (proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript) to turn visual designs into functional web pages</li><li>
Design with SEO best practices and legal accessibility standards (like WCAG) in mind</li><li>
Staying current: research and evaluate new design trends, techniques, software, and technologies to keep the website modern and competitive.</li><li>
Managing multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>
Print production via the on-site print production equipment</li><li>
Ordering of print production materials as needed (paper, toner, supplies, etc.)</li><li>
Shipping of materials in a timely and cost-effective manner</li><li>
Communicating effectively with internal staff</li><li>
Participating in meetings with managers and developing goals for continual improvement</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader">
Job Overview + Requirements</h5><ul><li>
Job Type: Graphic and Web Designer; Hourly, $20.90 per hour.</li><li>
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am &ndash; 5:00pm</li><li>
Physical Requirements: ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to travel as needed.</li><li>
Required Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, web design or a related field.</li><li>
Portfolio Required: Showcase your portfolio that reflects your talent with Graphic and Web Design.</li><li>
Required Experience: Proven experience in design production using Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office and printing interfaces. Experience building entire websites using Wix, HubSpot, WordPress or similar software. Must have an understanding, knowledge, ability, and know the appropriate use of raster vs. vector, RGB vs. CMYK, web graphics, multi-page document design. General knowledge of AI and modern technologies to drive innovation within our marketing and sales strategies</li><li>
