The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago is a dynamic and stimulating place to work. We strive for the highest level of complex care for children from diagnosis and treatment; provide outstanding education and training for students, postgraduate scholars, and physicians; and nurture the research of Department scholars who seek to elucidate the causes of pediatric disease and identify promising new therapies. In addition to our provision of clinical care at UChicago Medicine (UCM) Comer Children&rsquo;s Hospital and at our regional sites, we are currently expanding our clinical care across Northern Illinois and Northwestern Indiana. In collaboration with our partners in the Chicagoland Children&rsquo;s Health Alliance (CCHA; Advocate Children&rsquo;s Hospital, and NorthShore University Health System). CCHA has responsibility for the care of almost 1 million children. Job Summary</div>
The Moskowitz Laboratory (https://moskowitzlab.uchicago.edu/) seeks a Research Specialist II to become a member of the laboratory team. The Laboratory is interested in the gene regulatory networks that control organ development and adult organ homeostasis. We perform discovery of fundamental developmental and homeostatic gene regulatory principles. We seek to understand how alterations of genomic mechanisms result in risk for diseases including birth defects and cardiac arrhythmias. Individuals will work as part of a team to advance multidisciplinary projects. It is expected that individuals in the Research Assistant II position will develop independent competence in basic research approaches. This role provides both basic technical support activities and the opportunity for independent advancement of scientific research projects.<br>

The Research Specialist II performs routine assignments related to scientific research projects. Ensures compliance of research activities with institutional, state, and federal regulatory policies, procedures, directives and mandates. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. About the Department</div>
General surgeons at the University of Chicago Medicine focus on a broad range of diseases, including various types of cancer, endocrine disorders, esophageal diseases, bariatric surgical treatment, breast diseases, and more. In treating this wide spectrum of diseases, our surgeons are also trained to use minimally invasive techniques, including robotic and laparoscopic approaches, to ease the patient&rsquo;s surgical experience. This position will assist to manage, plan, monitor and assure delivery of high-quality patient and family care for a caseload of wound care patients within an outpatient and inpatient setting at Ingalls Memorial Hospital. This position will exercise autonomous decision-making in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of wound related health care issues as delineated by the collaborative agreement. Job Summary</div>
The Center for Health and the Social Sciences (CHeSS) seeks an entry-level Research Analyst to join our innovative Methods Core team. The CHeSS Methods Core provides expert statistical consulting services to investigators across the University, supporting impactful research in healthcare delivery and policy. The Research Analyst will utilize statistical programming skills in Stata, R, and SAS to perform advanced data management, analysis, and manipulation of large, complex datasets. Working under the guidance and supervision of senior staff members and faculty, the analyst will contribute to research related to healthcare economics, health services, and healthcare delivery sci-ence.<br>

The Research Analyst will work with large, complex data sources, specifically the Merative Mar-ketScan&reg; Research Databases, which are a key component of the CHeSS Methods Core&rsquo;s data holdings. Projects will involve collaboration with multiple leaders and investigators throughout all stages of project development, from study design and implementation to results reporting and manuscript preparation. The Research Analyst will also play an active role in supporting CHeSS&rsquo;s educational mission by participating in training activities, preparing lectures and workshop materials, and serving as a teaching assistant as needed.
