<p></p><div><p>The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Hospitalist who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities .
</p></div><p></p><div><p>The position offers a dynamic opportunity to deliver continuous care across inpatient services at both the academic medical center on the Main Campus , as well as in a community setting on the Olathe Campus . Patient care is provided in shift scheduling to include day, swing and limited night shifts, shared equally among members of the group . Nocturnist program in place. The role also includes participation in call duties, aligning with established practices for hospitalist services . There will be l imited interaction with house staff in a supervisory and triage role . As an academic medical center and health system, we offer full sub-specialty support with closed ICU at the main campus.
</p></div><p></p><div><p>Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on scholarly pursuits, including collaborative education and research activities with students and fellows. For those inclined, independent research initiatives are encouraged.

</p></li><li><p>Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
</p></li><li><p>Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
