Our services include postpartum support, lactation care, pediatric OMM, and holistic offerings designed to help mothers feel supported, regulated, and confident in early parenthood.We are building a team of warm, grounded, and emotionally attuned providers who value connection just as much as clinical skill.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Postpartum Doula to provide in-home support to families during the early postpartum period. This role focuses on both practical and emotional support, helping mothers and families transition into life with a newborn.This is a 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and the ability to accept or decline clients based on availability.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide in-home postpartum support to families</li><li>Support newborn care (feeding, soothing, sleep guidance)</li><li>Offer emotional support to mothers during the postpartum period</li><li>Assist with light household tasks (laundry, dishes, simple meal prep)</li><li>Support feeding (breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or combination)</li><li>Maintain a calm, non-judgmental, and supportive presence</li><li>Communicate with The Village team as needed for coordinated care</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Postpartum doula training/certification preferred (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Experience working with newborns and postpartum families</li><li>Warm, compassionate, and emotionally intuitive approach</li><li>Reliable transportation for in-home visits</li><li>Strong communication and professionalism</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$30&ndash;$40 per hour (based on experience)</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>Referral-based clients provided</li></ul>Why Join The Village<ul><li>Thoughtfully matched clients</li><li>Supportive, non-corporate environment</li><li>Opportunity to be part of a growing, holistic care model</li><li>Flexibility to build your schedule</li><li>Meaningful, relationship-centered work</li></ul>Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
