<div>The Equipment Procurement Manager is responsible for profitably managing the day-to-day equipment operations. This role will collaborate closely with application project teams and leadership to drive performance across all projects. 
This role will work onsite at our warehouse in Port Washington, WI.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Maintain financials and reporting and prepare annual budget</li>
<li>Maintain an organized and well-maintained warehouse and equipment operation</li>
<li>Collaborate with applicable warehouse and project teams prior to purchasing, leasing or renting equipment</li>
<li>Track equipment and tool usage to ensure regular scheduled maintenance is completed within regulations; recommend replacement, sale or repair, as necessary</li>
<li>Source and solidify reputable vendors</li>
<li>Pursue opportunities to provide additional services to project teams in an effort to expand warehouse operations</li>
<li>Support safety programs, including: assisting with implementation, ensuring all equipment and tools are in safe working condition, establishing positive safety behavior and adhering to safety protocols</li>
<li>Comply with DOT regulations (i.e. trailer weight/load restrictions, equipment maintenance)</li>
<li>Ensure equipment and tools are delivered timely to project sites in order to maximize productivity and in a cost-effective manner</li>
<li>Maintain current asset inventory to resolve inventory irregularities, usage inaccuracies and equipment uses</li>
<li>Operate small equipment to load/unload trucks, and other tasks as needed</li>
<li>Ensure invoices are accurate and timely, including correct coding to project sites</li>
<li>Stay abreast of new construction materials, equipment and technologies; evaluate if new techniques improve cost or productivity</li>
<li>Manage staff, to include: mentoring, creating development goals, delegating tasks/responsibilities, recommending disciplinary action and recruiting of qualified talent</li></ul> 


What We're Looking For: 
<ul>
<li>Experience:
<ul><li>7+ years of construction-related experience is preferred, including management of quality assurance processes and leading change within a warehouse</li>
<li>An industry related bachelor's degree is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered</li>
<li>Forklift Certification is required, or the willingness to obtain upon hire</li>
<li>OSHA 30 certification or the willingness to obtain upon hire</li>
<li>Lean Principles experience is a plus 
</li>
</ul></li><li>Technology:
<ul><li>Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
</li><li>Ability to learn other specific software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, warehouse software, etc.).</li>
</ul></li><li>Skills: A qualified candidate will demonstrate analytical, team leadership and organizational skills. They should also show strong independent judgment, verbal and written communication, project management, negotiation and relationship building abilities.

Equipment Procurement Manager

<div>The Weitz Company is currently accepting applications for an outstanding Construction Project Engineer to be located at our data center in Council Hill, OK! 
The Project Engineer is responsible for several functions throughout the duration of assigned projects including planning, buyout, management and closeout. This role actively assists the project team in monitoring project status and identifying issues that may impact the project schedule and/or budget. The Project Engineer typically reports to the Project Manager.

What You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings</li>
<li>Collaborate with project team to complete requests for information (RFI)</li>
<li>Review submittals and other project documents for accuracy against plans and specifications</li>
<li>Assist in preparing inspections, compliance audits and the non-conformance log</li>
<li>Monitor material and equipment delivery status</li>
<li>Maintain and distribute accurate project logs (i.e. buyouts, subcontractor material status reports, submittals, RFIs)</li>
<li>Understand scopes of work to be included in subcontracts and/or purchase order agreements</li>
<li>Track subcontractor requests for change; solicit pricing and draft change orders within delegated authority</li>
<li>Understand and assist with project schedule management</li>
<li>Attend regular project meetings; record and distribute meeting minutes</li>
<li>Obtain closeout information; gather punch list items; prepare as-built drawings; assist with warranty process</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


What We&rsquo;re Looking For:

<li>Experience:
<ul><li>A minimum of two (2) years of project engineering experience</li>
<li>Experience in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Industry-related college degree</li>
<li>Data center experience is strongly preferred</li>
</ul></li><li>Skills:
<ul><li>Excellent leadership skills with a desire to mentor, coach, and develop a team</li>
<li>Ability to compare and analyze various systems and related cost impacts</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication
</li><li>Ability to balance and prioritize projects with impending deadlines</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and highly organized
</li><li>Strong negotiation skills</li>
<li>Business acumen and relationship building skills
</li></ul></li><li>Technology:
<ul><li>Candidate should have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Apple products (iPhone &amp; iPad) and have the ability to learn specific software.
</li><li>Solid systems experience with Procore, JDE, and Asta is preferred.
