**This position will require to work a mix of OVERNIGHT (11pm - 7am) and EVENING (3pm - 11pm) shifts**

About the Role:
As a Rooms Preventative Maintenance Specialist, youll play a vital role in ensuring the hotel remains in excellent condition throughout the day. From handling guest maintenance requests to performing routine inspections, your work will help guarantee a flawless experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
What Youll Do:<ul><li>
Deliver Outstanding Guest Service: Be ready with a warm attitude and quick solutions, helping guests with any maintenance needs during their stay.</li><li>
Be a Jack-of-All-Trades: Conduct routine inspections and assist with preventative maintenancewhether its replacing light bulbs or patching up vinyl, youll keep things in top shape.</li><li>
Monitor and Maintain Systems: Ensure essential systems (like HVAC, plumbing, and lighting) are functioning properly, and respond promptly to any issues that arise.</li><li>
Take Care of the Pool: Perform regular pool checks and maintenance to ensure its sparkling and guest-ready.</li><li>
Refurbish &amp; Beautify: Touch up guest areas and fixtureshelping keep everything fresh, polished, and guest-ready.</li><li>
Safety First: Conduct routine safety and security inspections of the property and respond to any maintenance-related emergencies.</li><li>
Work as a Team: Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction.</li></ul>

Skills &amp; Experience Were Looking For:<ul><li>
Hands-On Experience: 23 years in a maintenance role or related experience, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.</li><li>
Technical Know-How: Proficiency with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general troubleshooting.</li><li>
Independent Problem Solver: Comfortable making decisions and addressing issues proactively during your shift.</li><li>
Reliable Team Player: A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills are key.</li><li>
Tech-Savvy: Ability to use digital systems for tracking maintenance work and reporting issues.</li></ul>
Physical &amp; Environmental Demands:<ul><li>
Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and lift heavy loads.</li><li>
Comfortable working in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures.</li><li>
Ability to be on your feet for long hours and respond to both visual and aural cues.</li><li>
Possible exposure to secondhand smoke and other environmental factors in and around the hotel.</li></ul>
