The Woodlake Senior Living, located in Sacramento CA is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech
<ul><li>Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents&rsquo; physician.
</li><li>Documents and reports changes and observations of resident&rsquo;s needs and preferences.
</li><li>Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
</li><li>Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
</li><li>Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
</li><li>Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
</li><li>Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
</li><li>Completes state required training upon hire and annually.</li>
</ul>
 Required Experience
<ul>
<li>Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>A minimum of one (1) year caregiving experience is required.</li>
<li>Experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare or senior living.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age.
</li><li>Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is essential.</li>
<li>Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred.</li>
<li>Food Handlers Certification, First Aid Certification, Caregiver Certification and CPR Certification preferred.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills.
</li><li>Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
</li><li>State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement
</li><li>LIC 503 Health Screening Report</li>
</ul>
