 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Serve tables as determined by management by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner
 
 
 Complete knowledge of hotel&rsquo;s food and beverage preparation, menu, and pricing
 
 
 Interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner
 
 
 Clear, clean, and prepare tables
 
 
 When serving alcoholic beverages, observe guest&rsquo;s behavior, count number of drinks served, and follow proper procedure if guest is impaired to drive by suggesting transportation by taxi service
 
 
 Escalate guest service issues to management if you are unable to resolve
 
 
 Ensure guests are satisfied during their meal service
 
 
 Other duties as assigned
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 High school diploma or GED preferred
 
 
 
 Minimum Of 6 Months Server Experience
 
 
 
 Experience in hospitality preferred
 
 
 Possess basic math skills and cash-handling
 
 
 Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

 The Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for a Housekeeping / Room Attendant whose primary responsibility is the complete upkeep and cleaning of every hotel guest room at the Dalmar &amp; Element Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
 
 
 This includes changing towels, making beds, cleaning and disinfecting the entire room, in preparation for the guest's arrival and stay at our beautiful Downtown Fort Lauderdale property. In addition, you will address all guests needs and inquires as it pertains to the guest room and making sure that the rooms are fully stocked, clean and inviting for our guests.
 
 
 General Requirements

 Daily cleaning and maintenance of all guest rooms.

 Ensure compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures Marriott brand standards and government and state regulations.

 Respond to any guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Housekeeping Room Attendant (AM/PM Shifts Available)

 Position Summary
 
 
 The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.
 
 
 The Guest Service Agent greets guests, processes check-ins and check-outs, issues room keys, answers questions, and resolves guest requests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations. Processes guest bills and collects payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures. Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management. Reports any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management.
 
 
 Complies with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest greetings. Knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate. Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations. Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions

 Process guest check-ins and room assignments following the hotel&rsquo;s rate structures, discounts and sell/upsell strategies. Accommodate special requests when possible.

 Process check-in/check-out and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Answer inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, etc. Assist guests with check cashing, safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 If necessary, walk guests in a professional and courteous manner and in compliance with policies, procedures and brand stands.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pre-register, block reservations and, as appropriate, take same day and future reservations. Cancel room reservations according to policies and procedures.
 </li>

 Ensure release of any Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
 </li>

 Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

This position will manage all aspects of hotel guest&rsquo;s accommodation. The Front Desk Agent will welcome guests and issue room keys, manage reservations and provide information about rooms, rates, and amenities.
