Pipefitters/welders salary is between $35-$40 per hour with opportunities for advancement with 2-5 years of experience. Paid vacation and holidays are included. This is a drug-free workplace.Job Duties<ul><li>Must have experience in handling chillers, pumps, air handlers and boilers</li><li>Duties include pipefitting, pipe welding and installation of pipe hangers and related materials</li><li>Ability to work with carbon steel, copper, iron, etc. piping ranging in size up to 24 inches</li><li>Plan installation to avoid obstructions</li><li>Ability to cut, thread, bend, and weld pipe as required by specifications using saws, cutting torches, pipe cutting machines, threading machines, bending tools and machines, and welding torches</li><li>Must be familiar with setting equipment in place</li><li>Capable of laying out HVAC system components by plans</li><li>Installation of chilled, hot and steam piping</li><li>Installation of valves, hangers, supports, and flanges inside HVAC piping systems</li><li>Secure pipe to structures with hangers, brackets, and clamps using hand and power tools</li><li>Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging</li><li>Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights</li><li>Perform other related duties</li><li>Must be able to lift 50lbs</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Maintain a positive and teachable attitude</li><li>Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter</li><li>Complies and promotes company Safety Policy</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Regular and punctual attendance.
