Paid Media Lead

Job Description
The Materials Planner will develop the raw materials requirements plan, work with suppliers to acquire raw materials delivery commitments, and align production schedules deliveries. The role will balance the required and available material to optimize service, working capital and material costs given network lead times and order quantities among others. This individual is encouraged to make decisions on behalf of supply planning when engaging with other functional areas (such as capacity planning, procurement, manufacturing and finance). Decisions may need to be approved by a supervisor or manager if they fall outside of the predefined threshold defined by the business processes. What will you do?<ul><li>
Monitor supply plans to identify changes and to understand their impact on material requirements schedules.</li><li>

Establish and own critical inventory parameters - such as ABC classification and safety stock settings, replenishment quantity and launch quantity - taking into account constraints and input, such as lead time and order cycle time.</li><li>

Report on back orders, short stock, excess items and slow-moving inventory to the parties concerned.</li><li>
Be accountable, measure, analyze and report key process metrics, and monitor adherence to key performance indicators such as inventory, on-time delivery, and availability.</li><li>
Participate in problem solving activities and drive back-order reduction efforts.</li><li>
Improve and upgrade material planning systems and reporting.</li><li>
Manage material quality nonconformances with the supplier ensuring supply risk is minimized while supplier identifies root cause and assign countermeasures to prevent recurring event.</li><li>
Update internal specifications as required to ensure material are delivered and received right the first time.</li></ul>
