The Opportunity
The Site Manager is the on-site leader responsible for coordinating and overseeing field installation activities for Thermo Systems projects. Partnering closely with the assigned Project Manager, the Site Manager drives safe, high-quality installation execution and monitors schedule progress at the job site&mdash;ensuring work is performed to plan, issues are surfaced early, and changes are controlled.
This role serves as Thermo Systems&rsquo; site liaison with customer representatives, general contractors, and third-party trades (including electrical subcontractors). The Site Manager ensures installation drawing version control, supports change order development, and maintains daily field coordination with Thermo Systems Engineering and internal/external field resources.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Core Responsibilities:
On-Site Installation Leadership (Safety, Quality, Execution):
<ul><li>Own day-to-day on-site coordination for installation activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Thermo Systems standards and customer requirements.</li>
<li>Promote a safety-first culture: reinforce safe work practices, ensure compliance with site safety plans, and escalate unsafe conditions immediately.</li>
<li>Lead field quality practices: verify installation workmanship, ensure inspections are completed, and coordinate punch list creation and closure.</li>
</ul>
Schedule Monitoring &amp; Daily Coordination:
<ul><li>Track installation progress against the approved schedule and short-interval plans; identify risks to milestones and drive corrective actions.</li>
<li>Coordinate daily/weekly field meetings (toolbox talks, trade coordination meetings, look-ahead planning) as required by the site.</li>
<li>Maintain clear visibility of site constraints (access, permits, shutdown windows, staging areas, material availability) and communicate impacts proactively to the Project Manager.</li>
</ul>
Stakeholder Management &amp; Site Liaison:
<ul><li>Serve as Thermo Systems' on-site point of contact with:
<ul><li>Customer representatives (as applicable)</li>
<li>General contractor / construction management team</li>
<li>Third-party electrical and mechanical trades</li>
<li>Safety and quality representatives</li>
</ul></li><li>Foster strong working relationships while maintaining disciplined coordination, documentation, and escalation paths.</li>
</ul>
Engineering &amp; Drawing Control (Version Management):
<ul><li>Maintain strict version control of installation drawings and field change documentation (latest revisions, RFIs, redlines/as-builts).</li>
<li>Coordinate with Thermo Systems Engineering to resolve constructability issues, clarify design intent, and communicate field conditions that affect drawings.</li>
<li>Ensure field teams and subcontractors are working from the current approved revisions and that superseded documents are removed from use.</li>
</ul>
Change Management &amp; Commercial Support:
<ul><li>Identify field-driven scope changes, site conditions, or customer/GC-driven modifications that could impact cost, schedule, or scope.</li>
<li>Support change order development by documenting change drivers, capturing field impacts (labor, material, schedule), and providing timely inputs to the Project Manager.</li>
<li>Assist with RFIs, field clarifications, and documentation needed to substantiate changes.</li>
</ul>
Coordination with Project Manager:
<ul><li>Partner closely with the Project Manager on execution readiness, schedule adherence, risk/issue escalation, and change control.</li>
<li>Provide accurate weekly (or as required) site updates for project reporting: progress, constraints, safety, quality, open issues, and upcoming milestones.</li>
<li>Ensure site execution aligns to Thermo Systems standards for documentation, reporting, and handover requirements.</li>
</ul>
Material, Workface, and Readiness Support:
<ul><li>Coordinate with procurement/logistics and field teams to confirm material readiness, deliveries, staging, and inventory control on site.</li>
<li>Support workface planning: ensure crews have the right drawings, materials, tools, access, and permits to execute planned work.</li>
<li>Participate in commissioning readiness planning (as applicable) by ensuring installation completion, testing prerequisites, and punch list closure.</li>
</ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Education &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>Background in electrical installation, industrial controls, automation, construction management, or related trade leadership.</li>
<li>Familiarity with industrial environments (manufacturing, process facilities, distribution, energy, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience coordinating third-party electrical contractors and working within GC-controlled job sites.</li>
<li>Exposure to change management processes and documentation (RFIs, redlines, as-builts, T&amp;M tracking, etc.).</li>
<li>Certifications such as OSHA-10/30, NCCER, or trade licensing (as applicable) are a plus.</li>
</ul>
Skills &amp; Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience leading or coordinating field installation on industrial, controls, electrical, or construction projects.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of installation practices, jobsite coordination, and trade management.</li>

<li>Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors.</li>

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for coordinating project execution from early planning through commissioning and closeout. The Project Manager works closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, field personnel, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
Based onsite in West Memphis, AR, this position plays a key role in coordinating field activities, subcontractor execution, scheduling, and customer communication while maintaining project documentation and reporting.
As projects expand, this role may require temporary relocation to future project locations to support additional large-scale data center builds. Candidates must be open to relocation as project needs evolve.
