</li></ul><div>What You'll Do</div>
<ul><li>Teach AMC 8 math classes in a clear, engaging, and student-centered way</li>
<li>Deliver competition-focused lessons using Think Academy's curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance</li>
<li>Support students in building problem-solving skills, mathematical thinking, and competition confidence</li>
<li>Introduce creative and challenging math topics beyond standard curriculum (combinatorics, number theory, geometry, logic)</li>
<li>Manage a virtual or in-person classroom and create a positive learning environment</li>
<li>Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress, performance, and competition goals</li>
<li>Participate in teacher training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development</li>
<li>Work approximately 30&ndash;40 hours per week, with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends</li>
</ul><div>Who We're Looking For</div>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree completed or in progress</li>
<li>Strong math foundation, particularly in competition math topics</li>
<li>Personal experience with AMC 8, AMC 10/12, or other math competitions is a plus</li>
<li>Passion for making competition math accessible and exciting for middle school students</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Able to commit at least one semester with fixed teaching schedule (Fall semester ends in Dec. 2026)</li>
<li>Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends</li>
<li>Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, or working with K&ndash;8 students is a plus</li>
<li>Available to attend a 5-day on-site training (paid) in San Jose, CA as part of onboarding</li>
