Primary responsibilities involve developing and maintaining customer-facing features and components across Content Management, Advertising and Customer Relations. Additionally, promotional product pages, marketing features and SEO initiatives will fall under the ownership of our team.</p><p>
To expand our team, we are seeking another Senior Backend Engineer (f/x/m) proficient in PHP and Backend technologies.</p><p>
We work remote, distributed, together: Whether fully remote within Germany or on-site in our offices in Berlin &amp; Erlangen - always as a team, always customer-oriented and data-driven.</p><p>

Here&rsquo;s what you&rsquo;ll be doing</b></h3><ul><li>
We are constantly working on improving our customers&rsquo; satisfaction through landing pages, specialized tools for accessing our assortment, helpful content and guides, as well as easily reachable contact points to our customer service.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll drive pivotal projects from development to production launch, including landing pages enhancements and expansion of marketing campaign features.</li><li>
Implementation and maintenance of new and existing Product features.</li><li>
We conduct thorough automated unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality standards, extended with manual testing as well. Quality assurance is a top priority for us.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll help propel the team forward, leading technical solution planning and ensuring project goals are met within expected timelines</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll engage and collaborate with stakeholders and other engineering teams on business-critical projects and features</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you should bring to the table</b></h3><ul><li>
At least 5 years of current work experience as a Backend Engineer working with PHP</li><li>
Proficiency in OOP concepts, common design patterns, and complex database structures</li><li>
Fluency in testing frameworks such as PHPUnit</li><li>
Experience with common PHP frameworks such as Symfony is advantageous</li><li>
Experience in managing code and dependencies with Git &amp; composer</li><li>
Hands-on experience with React is a plus, but not required</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Shop-Backend: We are on PHP 8.4. We take full responsibility for our framework and adhere to established standards (e.g. PSR) during development.</li><li>
Shop-Frontend: We use React &amp; Typescript on the client side while leveraging Tailwind for styling and design.</li><li>
MySQL &amp; Memcached provide our customers with reliable and fast data.</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
