Barista - Corporate Caf&eacute; | Location: Phoenix, AZ 85083

Compensation: $19-$22 per hour| Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday: typically 8a-4:30p (but availability to cover 11a-7:30p needed, as well.) 


Job Summary

As a Barista in this role, you&rsquo;ll provide friendly, efficient service to employees, visitors, and staff by preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and light food items in a corporate setting. You&rsquo;ll maintain a clean and welcoming caf&eacute; environment, follow food safety standards, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced setting. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others to support a positive experience for all guests. 


What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Operate a cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus).</li>
<li>Set up appropriate cashier bank.</li>
<li>Document cash received and charges made.</li>
<li>Identify customer needs and refer them to the appropriate department for follow-up when necessary.</li>
<li>Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.</li>
<li>Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino.</li>
<li>Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies etc. for the coffee bar.</li>
<li>Stock refrigerators with beverages, condiments etc.</li>
<li>Clean, sanitize, polish general work areas, this includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and throwing trash.</li>
<li>Prepare and gather items needed for meal service.</li>
<li>Provide exceptional service to all guests.</li>
<li>Understand workplace standards for dress, behavior, and hygiene</li>
<li>Perform basic math (e.g., addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals)</li>
<li>Communicate clearly in English (spoken and written)</li>
<li>Deliver friendly, efficient customer service</li>
<li>Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail</li>
<li>Be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods</li>
<li>Follow time schedules for food prep and service</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


What You Will Bring

<li>ServSafe&reg; Certification and State Food Handlers Card</li>

What You'll Do
