<div><b>Thomas &amp; Hutton</b> has an opening for a motivated and driven <b>Civil Design Engineer</b> - <b>Water/Wastewater </b>in <b>Nashville, TN</b>. This role requires 2-5 years' experience preferably in a consulting engineering environment in water and wastewater design; specifically, utility design work including pipe, treatment plant, tank and pump station design. This position requires regular client interaction, and prior experience working with municipal clients is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports. Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software required and WaterCAD, Innovyze, or similar hydraulic system modeling software is preferred.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Education: </b>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Masters degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering Professional Engineering registration strongly preferred.</div>

</div><div><b>Thomas &amp; Hutton</b> has an opening for a <b>Project Manager </b>&ndash;<b> </b><b>Water Resources Engineering</b> located in our <b>Atlanta, GA</b> (Chamblee) office. The ideal candidate will help lead and grow our water resources department as part of a multi-discipline engineering office with strong public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be well-versed across the water resources discipline with demonstrated design and management experience in stormwater master planning, drainage and stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and permitting with the supporting capabilities to perform a variety of design tasks in the general civil engineering field. This position is ideal for ambitious and motivated candidates searching for career growth.</div>
<div><b>Typical Duties Include:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple design assignments, including proposal development, scope and fee development, project management, developing/maintaining project schedules.</li>
<li>Coordinate with clients, contractors, outside consultants, government agencies, project stakeholders and other T&amp;H staff from multiple locations and technical disciplines</li>
<li>Management and execution of watershed studies, stormwater master plans, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis (1D/2D modeling), drainage design, stormwater management design, erosion, and sedimentation control / NPDES permitting, and design/inspection of traditional and innovative LID infrastructure and SWM BMPs in both urban and rural environments.</li>
<li>Perform and manage a variety of water resource related studies, FEMA Letter of Map Changes, and capital improvement design projects.</li>
<li>Provide oversight and effective mentoring of team members.</li>
<li>Monitor the scope of work and fees during project progress.</li>
</ul><div><b>Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer Registration required &ndash; preferably in Georgia.</li>
<li><b>8+</b> years of experience in the Water Resources field</li>
<li>Hydrologic &amp; Hydraulic Modeling experience</li>
<li>Stormwater Management design experience</li>
<li>Green infrastructure design experience</li>
<li>Erosion and Sediment Control design experience</li>
<li>Contract Document preparation including Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimates</li>
</ul><div><b>Skills:</b></div>
<ul><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcMap, hydrologic/hydraulic software applications.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and excellent time management skills.</li>
