 The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations and benefits. The HR Generalist collaborates with HR staff to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office run smoothly and efficiently to ensure the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manages new employee onboarding and orientation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Custom HRIS reports as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Audits HRIS data entry and provides backup support as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in the day-to-day administration of benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and retirement plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains regular communication with employees to include employee counseling as directed by HR Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts post new hire check-ins and updates HR Manager and Group managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts exit interviews.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
 </li>
 <li>
 Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned.

 Preferred Education And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent. Masters degree preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Three to five plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with a variety of office equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record
 </li>
 <li>
 Must pass criminal background check
