Our office culture is positive, supportive, and respectful, and we strive to make our hygienists feel just as comfortable as with as much autonomy in patient care as is possible.Role Overview:We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and confident in their clinical skills. Our schedule is well-structured, allowing appropriate time for each appointment, and giving you moderate leeway over your own hours within our standard working days.Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral health assessments and screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment - Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical coding systems such as Curve, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality careQualifications:- Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Knowledge of dental coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes - Familiarity with digital radiography and intraoral imaging technology - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients of all ages - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work well in a team-oriented environmentNote: Additional qualifications may be required based on specific job requirements.Please submit your resume along with any relevant certifications or licenses for consideration.We look forward to meeting you!Job Type: Full-timePay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
