Bar Lead Description: 
The Lead Bartender job description entails working in the Hospitality industry and coordinating with the bar staff to deliver high-quality drinks and service. Lead Bartenders are responsible for assisting with the bar inventory and completing ordering par sheets. They must also train new bar team members. They must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixology. They are expected to adhere to state laws regarding alcohol service and ensure that guests are not over-served. A Lead Bartender must have a positive attitude, the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. They should be able to multi-task, organize their work efficiently, and maintain a clean and tidy bar area. 
Bar Lead Responsibilities:

Work closely with the bar manager to improve and maintain bar standards.</li><li>
Completing updated LBW pars for ordering manager to purchase.</li><li>
Train new bar staff members.</li><li>
Complete bar related admin tasks such as updating Use Records, Steps of Service, bar meeting materials, etc.</li><li>
Effectively communicate to management and team members.</li><li>
Assist with bar inventory.</li><li>
Ensure the completion of deep cleaning duties.</li><li>
Ensure product is properly stored in bar areas in FIFO order.</li><li>
Work with bar manager to streamline and create SOPs.</li></ul>

This mixed-use project will also feature a residential tower &ndash; Sienna &ndash; and 10,000 square feet of retail space and a 7,000 sq. ft. state of the art fitness center and simulator room, appropriately named the &ldquo;T&rdquo; Box.

Strong knowledge of steps of service, menu details, allergens, and sales‑driving techniques</li><li>
Proven leadership ability to train new hires, coach servers, and guide teams through SOP updates</li><li>
Clear, professional communication skills to coordinate FOH/BOH, relay shift notes, and represent the server team</li><li>
Operational accountability, including reviewing sections/side work, ensuring deep‑cleaning standards, and reporting maintenance issues</li><li>
Ability to create or revise training materials, facilitate quizzes, and provide actionable performance feedback to management</li></ul>

The Role

The tommie coffee bartender acts as a bartender and barista for The Coffee Bar. The Coffee Bartender has the ability to seamlessly transition from making fresh brew and/or recommending wine to casually engaging in conversation with the guests offering curated recommendations or acting as a local guide. Restaurant/Coffee/Bar experience is a plus. Open weekend availability is needed for this role.
