Position Description

Responsible for the repair or maintenance of machines, equipment, plumbing, electrical, heating or air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal production.

Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Responsible for keeping a structure or building in working order through maintenance and repairs.</li>
<li>Inspect, repair, and maintain functional parts of mechanical equipment and machinery.</li>
<li>Inspect defective equipment and diagnoses malfunctions.</li>
<li>Operate equipment to test its functioning.</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is performing at optimal levels.</li>
<li>Perform repairs on equipment when necessary.</li>
<li>Position requires versatile skills to include pipe fitting, insulating, boiler making, welding, carpentry, machining, repairing electrical or other mechanical equipment, installing new equipment, and repairs.</li>
<li>Equipment may include:</li>
<li>Distributed Control System (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)</li>
<li>Computer Numerical Control (CNC)</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Job Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Successful candidate must have the ability to operator equipment, understand key variables that influence raw material yields, quality, and reliability, and perform simple maintenance</li>
<li>Prior manufacturing/production experience is a plus.</li>
<li>May have several tasks in a single day at a number of locations, both indoor and outdoor, or may work within one building</li>
<li>Must have good mechanical aptitude and ability knowledge of:</li>
<li>Common machine components</li>
<li>Sources of machine failures</li>
<li>Inspection techniques</li>
<li>Services and adjustments</li>
<li>Assembly and installation</li>
<li>Troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Pumping system skills</li>
</ul>
Essential Physical Job Functions
<ul>
<li>Required to wear personal protective equipment consisting of a hard hat, safety glasses, steel toed boots, ear plugs, and gloves.</li>
<li>Thompson&rsquo;s working conditions expose our workers to changes in temperature and humidity.</li>
<li>All employees must be able to walk from the parking lot to their assigned work area. The distance is approximately 100-225 yards.
</li><li>Must be able to work a schedule of five 8-10 hour days per week or more as required.</li>
<li>Lifts and carries equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. when setting up or breaking down a job;</li>
<li>Walk across uneven surfaces as required to perform the task</li>
<li>Climb without assistance, stairs/ladders/platforms &amp; scaffolding;</li>
<li>Work safely in environments that are noisy; utilizing Hearing Protection and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)</li>
<li>May be required upon training to operate Scissor Lift or Boom Lift to reach elevated areas</li>

Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Position Description

This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of human resources, administrative and office support activities for TCG Management to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This will be completed in a safe and timely manner with the highest quality possible.

Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Responsible to ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws by accurately tracking employee work classifications, calculating correct wages, and submitting certified payroll reports (through Elations Systems).</li>
<li>Responsible of verifying that workers on government-funded projects are paid the appropriate rates and fringe benefits, often requiring detailed knowledge of labor regulations and compliance procedures.</li>
<li>Responsible for communication (memos, meeting notices &amp; preparation).</li>
<li>Respond to customer needs and requirements.</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to all TCG Management as required.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Records Management Policies and Procedures.</li>
<li>Work closely with Safety Personnel to coordinate and assist with new hire orientation.</li>
<li>Administer drug screen testing.</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy of all HR documentation.</li>
<li>Ensure that payroll is reported accurately and confidentially each Monday morning.</li>
<li>Coordinate and provide resolutions for all Payroll issues.</li>
<li>Track all employee absenteeism &amp; tardiness.</li>
<li>Ensure all invoicing and billing is processed accurately and confidentially. Resolve all issues and coordinate the resolutions.</li>
<li>Purchase order tracking. Budget and material purchases. Ensure all procurement transactions are executed consistently against all Policies and Procedures.</li>
<li>Manage and or coordinate IT &amp; site systems for TCG Operations on client sites (upgrades, changes, etc.).</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Job Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED Degree or 3 years of relevant work experience.</li>
<li>Proficiency with key computer applications (Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).</li>
<li>Excellent oral, written, planning and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Must be self-motivated and work individually or in a team environment.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize, and maintain a calm, professional and positive demeanor.</li>
<li>Detail and deadline-oriented.</li>
<li>Candidate may be required to pass a drug test and criminal background check based on job location/requirements.</li>
