<div>THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated SharePoint/Data Management Specialist to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Resident Inspection Office (RIO) in Mobile, AL.
This position is associated with an upcoming contract that THOR is pursuing. We are conducting preliminary, &ldquo;contingent&rdquo; hiring for roles associated with this contract. The work start is dependent upon THOR being awarded this contract.
Typical Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Support SharePoint development of local OPC SharePoint tools, software support and upgrades such as dash boards, workflows, data maintenance, data organization.</li><li>
Develop SharePoint workflows to support USCG contract management, team activities, dashboards for user quick view status, and mature SharePoint sites to improve document management, repository, and search/referencing functions.</li><li>
Research and data mine in and out of SharePoint as directed to retrieve data/status and develop/provide metrics as required.</li><li>
Support management of an electronic database by organizing and maintaining configuration of a complete electronic set of current and historical program documents in a SharePoint environment.</li><li>
Initiate, expedite, and close out process workflows related to document creation, indexing, review, delivery, and approval.</li><li>
Create standardized reports and presentation graphs on status of the workflows themselves and process metrics on usage of the workflow capability.</li><li>
Present SharePoint systems status and user requirements as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).</li><li>
Using the SharePoint systems, store and maintain version-controlled data products that are processed through workflows.</li><li>
Monitor data management repositories and communicate documentation to relevant USCG staff members as directed by the government.</li><li>
Screen documents for proper marking of distribution and data rights. Review contractor-submitted Data Accession List(s) and provide recommendations to the Government lead.</li><li>
Provide support with organization, tracking, maintenance and validation of spreadsheets that provides the historical responses and decisions made in managing the design of the OPC.</li><li>
Provide data, input and editing to routine reports.</li><li>
Track and support reporting on program documentation to include memoranda, routine MSAM documentation and decisional documents. Maintain a repository established on the Government-provided SharePoint site.</li><li>
Provide data for and assist in the preparation of lessons learned reports and briefs.</li><li>
Develop a process and associated plan for the maintenance of existing Government reports, trackers, and documents for the creation, incorporation, and maintenance of new reports, trackers, and documents.</li></ul>
Location: Primarily onsite at USCG Shipyard Facility in Mobile, AL.
Travel: Up to 10% travel is anticipated.
Typical Physical Requirements: Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve repetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.
Eligibility for a SECRET Security Clearance is Required: This position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance, to be obtained after hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>
At least four (4) years of recent, relevant experience in the infrastructure and web-based development and administration of SharePoint systems and tools.</li><li>
Experience with Performance Metrics, Analysis, and Trending.</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft PowerBI, the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook, as well as other software/tools provided on the Coast Guard Standard Workstation.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>
