We are a family oriented office who is looking to add a dental assistant to our amazing team. We perform all general dental procedures as well as placing implants, laser periodontal surgery, extractions and limited endodontics. Candidate should be a team player, dependable, willing to help where needed, and able to keep a positive attitude in a fast paced family practice. Must have excellent communication and people skills. If you or someone you know fits this description, please email us your resume today!Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet patients</li><li>Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort</li><li>Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed</li><li>Sterilize instruments according to regulations</li><li>Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry</li><li>Undertake lab tasks as instructed</li><li>Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions</li><li>Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as dental assistant</li><li>Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods</li><li>Understanding of health &amp; safety regulations (OSHA and HIPAA)</li><li>Good computer skills</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Well-organized and reliable</li><li>High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred, CDA, RDA</li><li>Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)</li><li>EagleSoft software experience desired</li></ul>Benefit:<ul><li>Waiting period may apply</li><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>401(k) with profit sharing when eligible</li><li>PTO and paid holidays</li><li>Dental coverage (including lab fees)</li><li>Scrubs provided</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Wednesday 8AM-5PM (7:45 huddle)</li><li>Thursday 8AM-5 PM</li><li>Friday 8AM-1PM</li></ul>Work Remotely<ul><li>No</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
