Job Summary Join our team as a Library Assistant, where you will play an important role in fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will assist with cataloging materials, managing databases, and supporting community engagement initiatives. Your enthusiasm will help ensure our library culture is a positive hub of learning and community.Duties<ul><li>Assist patrons with locating materials, using the integrated library system (ILS), and navigating digital resources.</li><li>Manage and update library databases and cataloge books.</li><li>Organize and maintain physical and digital collections through cataloging to enhance accessibility.</li><li>Provide research assistance to visitors, guiding them through research methods and resource utilization.</li><li>Contribute by supporting teaching activities, workshops, or community outreach initiatives.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and proactive approach.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>This paid role is perfect for individuals passionate about community engagement, and lifelong learning.</li></ul>Pay: From $15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
