The Franchise Coach is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of new franchise onboarding&mdash;from signing to post-launch performance coaching. This hybrid role ensures a seamless and structured onboarding experience while driving early-stage business success through strategic coaching and performance monitoring. As the primary point of contact, the Franchise Coach partners cross-functionally to guide franchisees through training, launch, and growth, ultimately transitioning them into long-term operational excellence. 
This is a remote role with some travel involved. 


Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding &amp; Training:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate and manage multi-phase onboarding curriculum for all new franchisees (startups and transfers).</li>
<li>Lead pre-launch requirements, including scheduling training, confirming checklist completions, and managing onboarding milestones.</li>
<li>Facilitate and lead on-site and virtual training sessions; ensure understanding through testing and teach-backs.</li>
<li>Maintain and improve training tools and documentation; ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and brand aligned.</li>
<li>Partner with functional teams to align training content with operations, technology, safety, and customer experience initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Post-Launch Coaching:
<ul>
<li>Provide business coaching during the franchisee&rsquo;s critical first year, focusing on operations, customer acquisition, staffing, and financial tracking.</li>
<li>Conduct business reviews, coach on P&amp;L statements, and help franchisees optimize performance.</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between franchisee and support center departments to solve issues and identify opportunities.</li>
<li>Support Franchise Peer Performance Groups (PPGs), regional meetups, and brand advisory forums.</li>
</ul>
Performance &amp; Accountability:
<ul>
<li>Monitor franchisee progress against goals and KPIs; create corrective action plans as needed.</li>
<li>Use data and analytics to guide decision-making, growth strategies, and process improvements.</li>
<li>Deliver consistent feedback and performance tracking reports to leadership and franchisees.</li>
<li>Occasionally assist non-onboarding franchisees with refresher training or special project needs.</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>4+ years of experience in franchise operations, coaching, or small business ownership.</li>
<li>Experience in home services such as HVAC and/or Plumbing preferred.</li>
<li>Proven track record in training, onboarding, and business consulting.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of operational KPIs, business planning, and P&amp;L management.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate.</li>
<li>Comfortable leading both virtual and in-person sessions.</li>
<li>Proficient with Google Workspace, MS Office, Salesforce, and training platforms.</li>
<li>Ability to travel up to 50% for on-site support, training, and franchise events.</li></ul>
