Position Summary
The role is a mix of project work and support tasks that focus on the Thrive Cloud platform, working and reporting to the Director, Cloud Networking to help design and deploy network services within Thrive Datacentres.
There is also an element of client work and consultancy for clients that have nonstandard setups and have more complex requirements. As well getting involved in client DR tests.
Candidate would be at CCNP level with a minimum of 5+ years of network engineering and administration experience, as well as a bachelor's degree from a related field preferably in Information Technology. 
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
As part of the Network Engineering team, you will be required to assist in designing, implementing and maintaining the regional Thrive Cloud network, as well as Internal networking infrastructure. In the absence of the network manager the expectation is to take a lead on these activities.</li><li>
Research and tailor new networking and security solutions to meet internal and customer&rsquo;s business requirements.</li><li>
Provide on-call support for network escalations on a rota basis.</li><li>
Assist in the creation of technical documentation such as MS Visio network diagramming, high/low level designs, user guides and knowledge base articles.</li><li>
Frequent visiting of datacentres throughout the USA</li></ul> 
Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Excellent communication, problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.</li><li>
Experience with multi-tenant infrastructure &ndash; Cisco VRF-Lite, Fortinet VDOMS, Cisco multi-context firewalls</li><li>
In-depth understanding of protocols, routing and networking services such as:</li><li>
 (TCP/IPv4, UDP,DNS, DHCP, NAT, SPAN/RSPAN, SNMPv3 )</li><li>
In-depth Understanding of switching technology&rsquo;s such as:</li><li>
(ARP,PVST, RSTP, MST, LACP, HSRP/VRRP)</li><li>
 Excellent understanding of network routing protocols/applications such as:</li><li>
(OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IP SLA)</li><li>
Route redistribution &amp; filtering, provider independent addressing, ARIN, RIPE</li><li>
Site to Site VPNs &ndash; IPSec, GRE, DM VPN, Front door VRF</li><li>
Experience with deploying Nextgen firewalls &ndash; URL/App Filtering, Anti-Virus, IPS, SSL Decryption</li><li>
Experience dealing with the following networking hardware:</li><li>
Firewalls &ndash; Fortinet, Meraki, Palo Alto, Cisco</li><li>
Cisco ISR and ASR Routing platforms</li><li>
Cisco Nexus &ndash; 3k, 9k</li><li>
Cisco Catalyst Access Switches &ndash; 3750,3850, 9300</li><li>
Cisco Meraki Wireless Infrastructure</li><li>
WAN Connectivity &ndash; Internet and Point to Point Circuits</li><li>
Had exposure to VMWare hosts and SANs plus has also worked on Disaster Recovery tests</li><li>
Experience working in a datacenter environment including racking, stacking, cabling, dealing with SmartHands &amp; arranging cross-connects</li><li>
Accurately designing and documenting client&rsquo;s infrastructure</li><li>

The Role 
We&rsquo;re looking for a motivated and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our commercial team, based in Lebanon or Egypt.
This role is all about starting meaningful conversations. You&rsquo;ll be the first point of contact for many future Thrive customers, identifying opportunities, understanding challenges, and helping organisations see how Thrive can make a real difference. This isn&rsquo;t about rigid scripts or endless cold calls; it&rsquo;s about connecting with people, telling a compelling story, and opening the door to long-term partnerships.
You&rsquo;ll work closely with Account Executives and the wider Sales team to build pipeline, qualify prospects, and set the foundation for successful customer relationships. 
 
Core Responsibilities<ul><li>
Research and identify target organisations and key decision-makers</li><li>
Proactively engage prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other creative outreach methods</li><li>
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to understand needs, challenges, and readiness</li><li>
Book high-quality discovery meetings for Account Executives</li><li>
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and outreach approaches</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in the CRM</li><li>
