He enjoys:<ul><li>Hardware stores (light bulbs, vacuums, Roombas!)&bull; Tinkering-type environments&bull; Creative play&bull; Adults who speak to him respectfully and calmly&bull; Pretend play with a caregiver who participates with him</li></ul>Transitions &mdash; particularly separations from a parent &mdash; can be challenging for him, as these are closely tied to feelings of safety and control.When he becomes overwhelmed, he may express that stress physically (for example, knocking items over, throwing objects, or running away from the area).The family understands these moments as nervous-system responses rather than intentional misbehavior, and they approach them with calm, regulation-first strategies rather than compliance-based discipline.Important: Transition Period &amp; Role EvolutionThis position will begin with a gradual, relationship-based transition.Mom will initially be home and present during the nanny&rsquo;s shifts for an extended period while her son becomes familiar with the nanny at his own pace.
