<div>We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to define and elevate the design craft standard for Money Canvas. This role blends strategy with execution, translating vision into design systems, visual language, and omnichannel interaction patterns that scale. As an expert individual contributor, you&rsquo;ll guide experience definition, mentor designers, and ensure every output from concept to interface meets the highest bar of usability, coherence, and polish.
 
 
Designers on this team will work on experiences that advance a range of priorities for Money Canvas, including improving the funnel to boost user acquisition, optimizing our two-sided coaching session experiences (coach / coachee), and crafting complementary self-serve experiences to reinforce and extend learning and behavior change outside of coach-led sessions. Our goal is to ensure quality, consistency, and cohesion across the Money Canvas user experience nationwide.
 
 
Money Canvas&rsquo; offering is a free money coaching program that empowers users to spend less so their money can go further (saving, investing, paying off debt). The program is human-delivered, digitally-enabled, grounded in behavioral psychology, and offered as a package of 3 one-on-one guided virtual meetings. Money Canvas has served over 10K households while maintaining an all-time NPS of 87.
DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

<ul><li>Apply human-centered design in meaningfully novel ways, while finding opportunities to support more design-driven decision making among digital product teams.
</li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to strategic design thinking, influencing not only execution but also the overall digital design strategy. Ensure design decisions are aligned to the business strategy and direction.
</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with other design leaders and staff (product management, design and engineering) to ensure a cohesive and innovative design approach.
</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, demonstrating confidence, charisma, and clarity in design discussions. Direct and mentor design teams. Influence digital experience strategy with product portfolio stakeholders and others within the organization.
</li></ul><ul><li>Mentor and collaborate with junior team members, providing guidance and support in best practices and methodologies.
</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize strong design facilitation skills to foster collaboration within cross-functional teams, and storytelling to build trust and establish long-term relationships.

</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS:
 Required:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Web Product Design, Web Development or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
</li></ul><ul><li>7-10 years of experience in a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in user experience, interaction design, product innovation and research in a product development team required.
</li></ul><ul><li>Proven experience in leading projects and contributing to the development of multiple shipped digital products.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to develop processes and approaches for tackling design problems, anticipating challenges, and uncovering innovative solutions.
</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain rationale for design decisions and clarify success metrics.
</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated application of human-centered design with a keen understanding of business and technical impacts on digital design.
</li></ul><ul><li>Self-directed and proactive, with a passion for driving progress and making meaningful contributions.
</li></ul><ul><li>Able to turn research into action that solves the user definition of a problem.
</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in cross-functional collaboration roles, with a focus on delivering business value.
</li></ul><ul><li>Extensive knowledge of how to leverage a design system and how to push the boundaries of the design system to achieve product and user goals.
</li></ul><ul><li>Relevant agile experience.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $130,210.00 - $176,167.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. Staff Product Designer, Money Canvas

<div>We are seeking an accomplished Product Designer to help lead our team in crafting intuitive and impactful user experiences across our digital products. As a Senior Product Designer, you will leverage your extensive experience and expertise to drive the creation of compelling experiences that enhance the usability and overall satisfaction of our users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, UX Writers, and UX Researchers to design, test, and iterate digital experiences prior to and after launch. You will play a crucial role in driving effective and distinctive digital experiences that marry desirability, feasibility, and viability within our product model.
