Job purposeThe Designer is responsible for creating inspiring and functional design solutions for flooring, kitchen, and bath remodeling projects. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and project teams, guiding homeowners through material selections, space planning, and design presentations. The Designer ensures each remodel reflects the client&rsquo;s vision, meets budget and timeline expectations, and aligns with company&rsquo;s commitment to exceptional quality and service.Duties and responsibilities&middot; Meet with clients to understand their design goals, style preferences, and budget&middot; Develop creative design concepts for kitchen, bath, and flooring remodels&middot; Create mood boards, 2D/3D renderings, and floorplans as needed&middot; Draw floor plans and cabinets using Chief Architect, 20/20 and Bluebeam&middot; Present design proposals and product selections to clients&middot; Create PowerPoint presentations for final client selections and installer work orders&middot; Source and specify materials, including cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, hardware, fixtures, and paint&middot; Collaborate with sales, project managers, fulfillment manager, and installation teams to ensure design vision is executed accurately&middot; Stay current with design trends, new materials, and vendor offerings&middot; Maintain organized records of projects, selections, and change orders&middot; Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle&middot; Backup for project orders in RFMS when fulfillment manager is out of office&middot; Backup for SalesAs a part of our process, we ask all of our applicants to complete a short 10-12 minute survey which you can find by copying and pasting into a new web browser the following link: https://go.cultureindex.com/p/6zwi1orhjxThis is a survey, not a test; no passing or failing. The purpose of this exercise is for us to identify your unique strengths as it relates to our open position.Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in 2020 Design is required</li><li>Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect and Bluebeam is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong drafting skills with the ability to create accurate schematics for construction projects.</li><li>Experience in interior design principles and practices is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.</li><li>A proactive approach to learning new techniques and staying updated on industry trends.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
