<div>
The Shift Leader oversees daily production operations during the assigned shift, ensuring all processes run efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards. The role monitors equipment and personnel performance, resolves production issues, prepares shift reports, and coordinates with other departments to maintain smooth operations. The Shift Leader also supports maintenance activities, ensures compliance with safety and environmental procedures, and leads the shift team to achieve production targets and continuous improvement.</div>
Responsibilities / &#1575;&#1604;&#1605;&#1587;&#1572;&#1608;&#1604;&#1610;&#1575;&#1578;:
<ul><li>Executes the daily production schedule of his shift, organising and administrating the technical personnel of his area of responsibility, e.g. raw material reception, secondary crushing, stacking and reclaiming, raw material grinding, raw meal blending, clinker burning, site material transport, cement grinding packing plant etc., in a way that secures the optimum operation of all job positions and development of the required end product within the specified technical standards and safety and environment regulations
</li><li>Develops and upon approval implements the shift schedule of the production, taking into consideration potential obstacles and difficulties, e.g. equipment malfunction or personnel shortage, to correspond efficiently to the plant&rsquo;s production targets</li><li>
Overviews the efficient operation of equipment and personnel, to meet company&rsquo;s operational standards (e.g. cost, equipment efficiency, timeliness of product delivery, effectiveness of personnel), proposing and upon approval implementing methods of improvement</li><li>
Develops the technical shift report regarding the efficiency of plant production, quality and engineering performance, informing accordingly the Production Manager and coordinating with the respective departments and shift technicians, to implement corrective actions whenever necessary, thus ensuring the smooth operation of the production process
</li><li>Works closely with the Production Manager during running and major shutdowns and supervises the production cleaning and maintenance activities in the area of responsibility, ensuring that the implementation of maintenance and improvement activities are according to schedule and within targets
</li><li>Cooperates with other technical departments of the plant, exchanging and communicating ideas and suggestion for improvement that will enhance the work relationships throughout the plant, as well as increase the information flow of the current production process</li><li>
Ensures that all personnel acts according to company&rsquo;s health, safety and environmental procedures and standards, providing the necessary support to all employees and identifying and reporting issues of consideration in order to meet the respective regulations
</li><li>Motivates, develops and manages his team in a way that ensures high level of initiative, professionalism, cooperation and development opportunities</li><li>
Participates or leads ad-hoc projects that may go beyond his/hers formal accountabilities, so as to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs</li></ul>

Education Level: Bachelor Of Science Degree &ndash; Chemistry Section</b></p><p><b>
Experience needed</b>: <b>3-5</b> years of relevant work experience within a large industrial organization, preferably from the cement industry.<br>

Production Engineer

The Safety Section Head supports the implementation of Titan Egypt&rsquo;s Health &amp; Safety (H&amp;S) standards across the assigned site/plant. The role ensures compliance with Group H&amp;S guidelines, national legislation, and internal procedures through regular inspections, incident follow-up, and employee coaching.</div><div>
The SH contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards, supporting risk mitigation measures, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.</div>
Responsibilities / &#1575;&#1604;&#1605;&#1587;&#1572;&#1608;&#1604;&#1610;&#1575;&#1578;:
<ul><li><b>Operational Safety Implementation</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Ensure daily compliance with Titan H&amp;S standards in the plant/site.</li><li>
Conduct regular safety inspections, walkdowns, and risk assessments.</li><li>
Identify hazards and unsafe practices and follow up on corrective actions.</li><li>
Support the implementation of emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response procedures.</li><li><b>
Incident &amp; Risk Management</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Lead the initial investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.</li><li>
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented on time.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records and ensure entry of incidents into the reporting system.</li><li>
Monitor high-risk activities and ensure proper control measures are in place.</li><li><b>
Training &amp; Safety Awareness</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher training for employees and contractors.</li><li>
Support building a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and coaching.</li><li>
Ensure employees understand and comply with safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe work procedures.</li><li><b>
Compliance &amp; Auditing</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Support internal and external safety audits and follow up on action plans.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with local legislation, TITAN Group policies, and site-specific procedures.</li><li>
Participate in periodic inspections with regulatory authorities when needed.</li><li><b>
Reporting &amp; Documentation</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports on KPIs, incidents, and observations.</li><li>
Ensure all documentation&mdash;permits, risk assessments, forms&mdash;is properly maintained.</li><li>
Provide insights and trends to the HSE Manager for continuous improvement.</li><li><b>
Contractor Safety Management</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Ensure all contractors comply with Titan H&amp;S standards before and during work.</li><li>
Conduct onboarding sessions and monitor contractors' adherence to safe practices.</li><li>
Review Work documentation for contractor activities.</li><li><b>
Health &amp; Wellness Support</b></li></ul><ul><li>
Support the implementation of health programs (medical surveillance, wellness campaigns).</li><li>
Coordinate with occupational health providers on routine and special assessments.</li></ul><br>

<ul><li><b>Education:</b> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, Safety, or related field.</li><li><b>
Experience:</b> 5&ndash;8 years in HSE roles within cement industrial field .</li><li><b>
Certifications:</b> NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred.</li><li><b>
Skills:</b> Strong communication, risk assessment, incident investigation, knowledge of Egyptian safety regulations, and familiarity with H&amp;S management systems (ISO 45001).</li></ul></div>
