Primary Responsibilities and Duties</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Reads specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of material required.</li><li>Fabricates metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.</li><li>Unloads and positions prefabricated steel units for hoisting; hoists steel beams, girders, or columns into place, using cranes or signaling hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural steel members.</li><li>Verifies vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, or levels.</li><li>Cuts, bends, or welds steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment.</li><li>Forces structural steel members into final positions, using turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks, or hand tools.</li><li>Pulls, pushes or pries structural steel members into approximate positions for bolting into place.</li><li>Bolts aligned structural-steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place.</li><li>Assemble hoisting equipment or riggings, such as cables, pulleys, or hooks, to move heavy equipment or materials.</li><li>Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.</li><li>Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.</li></ul>

Qualifications</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Experience as an Ironworker Journeyman in a Power Plant / Industrial setting.</li><li>Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.</li><li>Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.</li><li>Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

</div><div><ul><li>The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl</li><li>Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions</li><li>Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required</li><li>May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access</li></ul>

Ironworker Journeyman

<p><b>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for landscaping, infrastructure, and construction works, including grading, drainage, utilities, hardscape, and softscape layouts.</li><li>Develop detailed working drawings, sections, elevations, shop drawings, and as-built drawings from conceptual designs.</li><li>Review IFC drawings and prepare corresponding X-references based on verified project scope.</li><li>Produce comprehensive shop drawings with all necessary technical details.</li><li>Coordinate with engineers, landscape architects, QC teams, and site staff to ensure design accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Interpret survey data, topographical maps, and site layouts for precise drafting.</li><li>Maintain drawing registers, ensuring proper version control and documentation.</li><li>Identify and report discrepancies between IFC drawings, BOQ, and shop drawings.</li><li>Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve design issues.</li><li>Support tender, construction, and procurement teams with accurate drawings and quantity take-offs.</li><li>Prepare site layout drawings for survey teams, including coordinate points.</li><li>Conduct site visits and surveys to verify conditions and validate as-built quantities.</li><li>Develop as-built drawings based on verified site data.</li><li>Assist in preparing visual presentations and conceptual renderings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and project specifications.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to deliver drawings within deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.</li></ul><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><ul><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Civil 3D</li><li>Experience with 3Ds Max, V-Ray, and Photoshop is an advantage</li><li>Strong knowledge of grading, irrigation systems, paving, and utility layouts</li><li>Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good communication and teamwork abilities</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting Technology (or equivalent)</li><li>Minimum <b>5 years of experience</b> as a Draftsman in landscaping, infrastructure, or construction projects</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
