 Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties. Performs tasks that require physical labor at construction sites must have the ability to perform a variety of duties.

 Primary Responsibilities And Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow instructions given by superintendents, foreman and other experienced crew.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform all required duties with the first focus on safety.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for keeping work areas clean and in orderly conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Read and understand warning signs, operating instructions for equipment, jobsite safety rules and jobsite policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Learn to observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
 
 
 </li>

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
 </li>
 <li>
 Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions
 </li>
 <li>
 Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required
 </li>
 <li>
 May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffolds
 </li>
 <li>
 Move and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfaces
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment
 </li>
 <li>
 May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across construction/industrial site
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have required tools
 </li>
 <li>
 U.S. Driver's License may be required
 </li>
 <li>
 Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Civil Laborer

<ul><li>Degree: Bachelor&rsquo;s in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, Equivalency Certificate is must</li><li>Experience: 7&ndash;10 years in QS roles, with at least 3&ndash;5 years in senior positions within UAE construction projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Primavera)</li><li>Analytical and negotiation skills for cost control and contract management</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership abilities</li><li>Familiarity with UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors</li><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.</li><li>Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project planning.</li><li>Monitor project costs against budgets and highlight variances.</li><li>Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and contract conditions.</li><li>Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.</li><li>Track project expenditures and certify progress payments.</li><li>Manage variations, change orders, and claims.</li><li>Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.</li><li>Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project financials.</li><li>Support project managers with financial insights for decision-making.</li><li>Ensure adherence to UAE construction laws, codes, and VAT regulations.</li><li>Implement best practices in cost management and contract administration.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
