<div>Position Summary
The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and professional appearance of Class A commercial office properties. This role supports a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and building staff through detailed cleaning practices, safe chemical handling, and a customer service-focused approach.
Essential Responsibilities<ul><li>
Clean and maintain lobbies, offices, conference rooms, corridors, elevators, stairwells, and common areas</li><li>
Vacuum carpets; sweep, mop, and maintain hard surface flooring</li><li>
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies</li><li>
Empty trash and recycling receptacles</li><li>
Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and ledges</li><li>
Clean interior glass and high-touch surfaces</li><li>
Maintain breakrooms and tenant amenity areas</li><li>
Safely use and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, SDS, and company safety guidelines</li><li>
Utilize proper PPE and follow safety procedures to prevent workplace accidents and exposure risks</li><li>
Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, spills, or damaged equipment immediately</li><li>
Deliver professional, courteous, and responsive customer service to tenants, guests, and property management teams</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Previous commercial cleaning experience is A MUST</li><li>
Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures</li><li>
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards</li><li>
Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in occupied office environments</li></ul>

Essential Duties &amp; Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding work in a commercial environment. Essential duties may include standing and walking for extended periods; frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and repetitive movements; lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds; and operating cleaning equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively. Employees may work in varying indoor conditions, around cleaning chemicals, noise, dust, and high-traffic areas. The ability to follow safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain consistent attendance is essential to the role.
