Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide day-to-day management guidance and direction to project personnel in the execution of tasks defined in the PWS.</li><li>
Use proven project management and software development methodologies, including Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS), SAFe, VIP and Process Asset Library (PAL) that assure that all contract-driven activities are identified, documented, and tracked so that the contract shall continuously be evaluated and monitored for timely and quality service.</li><li>
Proactively monitor the performance of Programs and Program-related Projects.</li><li>
Provide expert SME input to PMO and client leadership that will improve the overall maturity of the PMO and programs responsible for.</li><li>
Manage team assignments and oversee daily tasking of project teams in close collaboration with Scrum Masters.</li><li>
Maintain and improve Program/project related process documents in the PM Playbook.</li><li>
Act as primary interface with the client and ensure client&rsquo;s needs are met within the scope of this project and our contract.</li><li>
Provide project financial and resource management to ensure programs/projects are staffed adequately to meet all time-lines and requirements in scope.</li><li>
Identify, communicate, mitigate and manage project risks; provide weekly updates to Portfolio Risk Manager on issues/risks requiring escalation.</li><li>
Manage resources and project to cost, schedule and performance, aligned with time-lines established in the Project schedule, prepare weekly resource utilization reports and monitor progress.</li><li>
Prepare and deliver on time input to contractual deliverables such dashboards, pipeline, and monthly status reports.</li><li>
Provide quality assurance over program/project deliverables and ensure timely submission of all contractual deliverables.</li><li>
Participate in PI-Planning sessions and support Portfolio Director as required and keep the tap on project life-cycle within the programs and ROI tracking for service line managers.</li><li>
Apply scaled lean agile methodology and framework (SAFe).</li><li>
Manage the project in compliance with VA&rsquo;s Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) governance model.</li><li>
Manage multiple projects aligned with the program/service line.</li><li>
Demonstrate a deep understanding of full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process re-engineering, structure and management practices.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum 15 years&rsquo; experience required.</li><li>
5 years of experience leading a program using Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) and SAFe.</li><li>
Experience managing program management tasks within VA, specifically working knowledge of VA&rsquo;s VIP management process.</li><li>
Knowledge of methodologies, technologies, frameworks, and toolsets such as Agile methodology, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Pega technology, VIP, Project Management Institute Project Management. Body of Knowledge, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology.</li><li>
Deep understanding of scaled agile development methodologies (SAFe).</li></ul><div><b>

Qualifications:

Experience managing scrum teams within VA, specifically working knowledge of VA&rsquo;s VIP management process and Rational Tool Suite (any requirement management tool).</li><li>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>As a Configuration/Release Manager you will be working with engineers, designers, developers and product managers supporting operations and maintenance of various VA applications and systems.</li><li>
Develop a Configuration Management (CM) Plan adhering to VA guidelines and processes clearly identifying configuration items and CM procedures, prepare configuration documentation and CM database.</li><li>
Provide support to project teams in configuring and base-lining configuration items.</li><li>
Identify and track Configuration Items, and maintain technical baseline documentation.</li><li>
Review and recommend improvements to existing CM processes.</li><li>
Maintain data quality, integrity and security of CM database.</li><li>
Schedule audits on CM database and assist in implementing audit recommendations.</li><li>
Develop security guidelines to avoid unauthorized damage or usage of project items.</li><li>
Work with configuration teams in development and enhancement of tools.</li><li>
Assist in management, maintenance, and automating of CM tools.</li><li>
Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.</li><li>
Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments.</li><li>
Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>10+ years of experience in a Configuration/Release Management role, managing configurations for multiple software packages simultaneously.</li><li>
Experience as a contributing member of an Agile Scrum team, communicating with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>
Experience working on Federal programs that are of high priority, visibility, and public-facing.</li><li>
Experience with Agile delivery programs.</li><li>
Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy with cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Able to work under minimal supervision, act independently and exercise an expert level of decision-making capability.</li><li>
Excellent writing skills and ability to produce polished written products.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability and experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Access.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
