</b></div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>
Lead traffic related design and plan development (roundabouts, traffic signals, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, signing, striping, and lighting)</li><li>
Conduct analyses using simulation and modeling software</li><li>
Create production of plans, specifications and cost estimates</li><li>
Ensure project goals are met within time and budget constraints</li><li>
Establish work plans and staffing for project phases</li><li>
Coordinate activities of engineers, technicians, and production staff</li><li>
Prepare reports, specifications, and communications</li><li>
Collaborate with Surface Transportation Group Managers and Vice President of Surface Transportation to track prospective business opportunities and cross-sell multi-disciplined consulting services and contributing to the creation of annual business/market development plans</li><li>
Conduct client and internal meetings, and reviews with governing agencies</li><li>

Required Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering
</li><li>Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin</li><li>
A minimum of 10 years of related transportation experience</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects; strong working knowledge of the project development process including coordination with other disciplines during design and construction</li><li>
Previous business development experience demonstrated by a track record of securing new project opportunities</li><li>
Experience in projects related to design and/or plan development for roundabouts, traffic signals, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, signing, striping, and lighting</li><li>
Strong working knowledge and previous experience with CADD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc.)</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills; Ability to write descriptive and technically accurate specifications and reports; Ability to participate in or lead project team meetings and client consultations</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

PTOE Certification or interest in attaining PTOE Certification</li><li>

<div>You will be responsible for observing and collecting traffic data, performing intersection evaluations, completing traffic and corridor studies, and conducting analyses using simulation and modeling software. You will also be responsible for preparing preliminary and final designs and developing construction plans for traffic signals, lighting, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, and signing/striping.<br>
